Fight Hunger, Spark Change
Approximately 42 million Americans experience food insecurity, we want to make that a thing of the past.
in addition to sending life-saving food...
to children in need, we are always looking for opportunities to address food insecurity in our local communities. Recently, as a part of Walmart and Sam's Club's Fight Hunger, Spark Change initiative, we donated more than 200,000 meals to local families through Feeding America.
Approximately 42 million people –
one in eight individuals in America – could experience food insecurity due to the ongoing economic fallout from COVID-19. Across the country, people have to choose between paying for groceries or bills. Many facing hunger are experiencing these tough choices for the very first time in their lives.
"It’s going to take all of us...
working together to end hunger. We as a nation have the collective power to help people become more food secure. It will take all of us working together—partners like Walmart and Sam’s Club, supplier partners, food banks and pantries, community members, government, food manufacturers and farmers—to make a meaningful, positive impact for people facing hunger."
