The Social Media Coordinator is the head of the This Saves Lives social team and oversees all day-to-day social strategy and execution of brand marketing initiatives on social platforms for the network. This role requires a unique blend of creative and innovative instincts, digital and social media aptitude, platform and audience expertise, management skills and strategies that drive growth, as well as an eye for performance metrics – all of which impact revenue, brand performance and more. Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Provide leadership in content and brand strategy for social across all initiatives and deliverables, across multiple channels to meet and/or exceed metric targets including engagement, follower growth, impressions, reach, traffic, revenue, etc.
Partner with brand creative, marketing, and digital teams to define social content, communications and strategies and translate into creative briefs
Drive strategy, budget and execution of brand marketing initiatives through content storytelling, ensuring a consistent brand message across multiple consumer touch points including Facebook, Instagram (feed, Stories, IGTV), YouTube, Twitter, LinkedIn, and blog
Build social media strategy for a growing brand
Content Creation (guide digital designer)
Product and lifestyle photography
Build social media calendar and strategy to align with marketing content calendar, sales and partner opportunities and brand initiatives, events, press and activations that require content and social media integration
Serve as a social platform and audience specialist with a technical understanding on how to generate awareness and engagement
Identify new trends to spark new innovative content development for organic platform growth
Guide external agencies and vendors involved with producing content, community management, etc.
Collaborate across the This Saves Lives Team to weigh in and provide intelligence from the social ecosystem
Monitor, measure and analyze the effectiveness of all social channels
Manage reporting of results and ongoing communication to executive team and translate social analytics and sentiment into actionable insights
Develop social/digital sponsorship opportunities
Serve as key liaison on strategies and offerings for driving revenue on social media for large scale clients
Lead amplification strategies, identifying new opportunities to drive revenue growth and media value across our social media campaigns
Perform research on current benchmark trends and audience preferences
Design and implement social media strategy to align with business goals
Set specific objectives and reports on ROI
Ensure designs and content reflect consistently and positively the brand image and company mission
Generate, edit, publish and share engaging content daily (e.g. Facebook and Instagram posts)
Communicate with followers, respond to queries in a timely manner and monitor customer reviews
Responds to Facebook and Instagram Messages
Oversee social media accounts’ design (e.g. Facebook timeline cover, profile pictures and blog layout)
Suggest and implement new features to develop brand awareness, like promotions and competitions
Stay up-to-date with current technologies and trends in social media, design tools and applications
Assess and anticipate projects and recommend appropriate action and resources.
5+ years’ experience
Self-starter who is experienced, strategic, creative, innovative, and passionate about all thing’s social media.
A natural ability to collaborate well with others across the organization and thrive in a fast-paced environment
Outstanding leadership and organization skills
Proven work experience as a Social media manager
Proficiency with Facebook and Instagram
Out-of-the-box thinker and solution seeker
Expertise in Facebook Advertising
Hands on experience in content management
Excellent copywriting and communication skills
Ability to deliver creative content
Knowledge of online marketing channels
