After celebrating its independence and becoming the world's youngest country, South Sudan was thrown back into full-scale civil war. With over 1.9 million individuals displaced internally, over half the population urgently require food assistance to meet basic survival needs. Our team has been able to visit the border and meet some of the displaced families. They are strong, resilient, and incredibly grateful for all of the treatment provided to help their children.
